The
21st conference of the Moscow Region branch of YABLOKO took
place on August 8. The Conference nominated candidates to
run at the municipal elections in the Moscow Region.
Thus, Misheronsky city in the Shatura Area will have four
candidates. The Klin branch of YABLOKO headed by attorney
Elena Samsonova had the proxies for nominating candidates
in the Klin area.
The Stupino branch of YABLOKO also obtained the right to
nominate its candidates. Their list of candidates will also
include representatives of the Support of Russia nation-wide
organization of small and medium-scale business.
In the Naro-Fominsk area YABLOKO will support Vyachelav Kachanov,
head of the local party branch. YABLOKO will also support
party members Igor Zakharov running for the local legislative
assembly in Dmitrov and Arkady Parvitsky running for the head
of the Krivandinskoye settlement in the Shatura area.
The conference also adopted a decision on mutual assistance
of the local party branches, as well as rendering assistance
to the Moscow branch of YABLOKO at the Moscow City Duma election.
The conference also adopted several statements, in particular
"On normalization of relationships between Moscow and
the Moscow region". YABLOKO stated the relationships
between the two federation subjects were inadmissible and
called the Moscow Mayor and the Governor of the Moscow Region
to put an end to their quarrels and discords.
In the statement "On the infill construction in the
Moscow Region" YABLOKO called the heads of all the cities
of the region to abolish such practices as violating citizens'
rights.
