Member of the Bureau of the Moscow Region branch of YABLOKO Sergei Kryzhov was elected deputy of the Municipal Council of Sergiyev Posad Area, Moscow Region.
Sergei Kryzhov obtained about 50% of the votes in a five-mandate electoral district. His campaign was held under the slogan “For each of you!”
Pre-term municipal election in Sergiyev Posad, Moscow Region, took place on Sunday, July 12. The mandate of the Council was stopped in accordance with the ruling of the court made in April 2009. In October 2008, 12 out of 25 deputies left the Council protesting against the policies of the city head.
Only five deputies, including Sergei Kryzhov, were re-elected.
