The 11th Congress of the Russian democratic Party YABLOKO continued its work in Moscow on Sunday, September 7, 2003.

Delegations discussed the electoral progamme of the party. On Saturday YABLOKO members voted for the list of candidates for the federal and regional lists, as well as a list for single-mandate electoral districts proposed by the party for the parliamentary elections.

The top three names of the list are Grigory Yavlinsky, his First Deputy Vladimir Lukin and Deputy Head of the party Igor Artemyev.

YABLOKO's congress also approved the candidacies of 118 individuals who will run in the election as YABLOKO's candidates in single-mandate electoral districts.

A briefing of YABLOKO's leader Grigory Yavlinsky is scheduled for 12:30 today.
