The leader of the Yabloko faction of the State Duma Grigory Yavlinsky forwarded on Friday, March 2, a telegramme, congratulating the former President of the USSR Mikhail Gorbachev on his 70 anniversary. The telegramme reads: "History chooses for its accomplishments those individuals capable of overcoming the misunderstandings of contemporaries and criticism of people wise after the event. To decide to take a step that altered the future of a great country is the destiny of unique individuals." Yavlinsky also wished Mikhail Gorbachev "wisdom, composure and strength" and expressed his hope that "everything would be fine” with his relatives. Based on Interfax reports.
