Picket in favour of registration of Grigory Yavlinsky at
presidential elections took place at the Teatralnaya square
in Nizhny Novgorod on January 23, 2012.
The participants of the action held placards YABLOKO for
Fair Elections!, YES to Elections! NO to Churov*! and Elections
Without Yavlinsky Means Elections Without Choice!
The picketers chanted Yavlinsky Is Our President!, Honesty
to the Central Electoral Commission and the Magician** ,
Go to the Circus! and Let elections be fair!
*Vladimir Churov is head of the Central Electoral Commission
who is accused of managing all the fraud at elections.
** Praising Vladimir Churov for the good results of the ruling
United Russia party at the parliamentary elections of December
4, 2011, President Medvedev called him a magician.
