A protest action against raising penalties for rallies

Press Release

May 22, 2012

The State Duma has been examining amendments stipulating the raise of penalties for rallies up to 1.5 million roubles.

The amendments constitute another crime buy the ruling Unite Russia party against the nation.

A general protest rally against the draft law will take place on Sunday. The rally has a permission from the Moscow authorities.

The government has to see that no penalties will stop us.

We are not going to speak about some abstract democracy. We will say #DumaStop. We are against the amendments. And we will make them listen to us.

Novopushkinskiy Garden (Pushkinskaya metro station). Sunday, May 27 at 14:00.
