On August 28, 2012, YABLOKO leader Sergei Mitrokhin met

Malta. The meeting was also attended by Galina Mikhalyova,
Deputy Chair of the Moscow branch of YABLOKO and the Executive

Malta and the activities of Alleanza Liberali. The party was
founded in 2006. Today Alleanza Liberali has an observer status
in the ELDR and is going to become a full member of the ELDR

restrictions imposed on the citizens of Malta by the Catholic
Church (e.g. bans on divorce and abortions). The party has

Despite the fact that Maltese liberals failed to obtain a
mandate in the EU elections in 2009, Alleanza Liberali will
participate in the elections to the European Parliament in
2014, the main slogan of the party will be the protection
of civil rights.

Sergei Mitrokhin told the leader of Maltese liberals about
the YABLOKO party, the current political situation in Russia
and YABLOKOs activities in the field of protection of human
rights.
In conclusion, YABLOKO leader presented the guest books and
brochures published by the party. Expressing his gratitude
for the gift, John Zammit noted that all the publications
will become exhibits of a large exhibition of liberal publications
