| For and on behalf of the YABLOKO party I
am conveying condolences to the relatives and next of kin
of Valiulla Yakupov, head of Educational Department of Spiritual
Directorate of the Muslims of Tatarstan, who was murdered
by criminals. I am also conveying condolences to residents
of Tatarstan and the entire Muslim community of our country.
I wish speedy recovery to Ildus Faizov, Mufti of the Republic
of Tatarstan, who was injured during explosion of his car.
We strongly condemn this crime and demand from the President
of the Russian Federation to take the investigation of the
attack under his personal control.
We hope that the criminals will not escape punishment.
