On July 5 - 6 July a natural disaster broke out in several
regions of the Krasnodar Territory. A heavy flood led to numerous
victims among the local residents. Resort city Gelendzhik
and Novorossiysk suffered from the disaster, however, but
the most affected was the Krymsk District.
In the evening of July 6 YABLOKO and North Caucasus Environmental
Watch activists organized a Public Aid Centre in Krymsk
for providing aid to the residents of the city and the district.
