Over half (44 out of total 86) candidates nominated and
supported by YABLOKO and the Democratic Choice won municipal
elections in Moscow on March 4; whereas 36 of these 44 newly
elected deputies of municipal councils come from YABLOKO and
eight people represent the Democratic Choice.
Andrei Babushkin, Vice-Chairman of the Moscow branch of YABLOKO
won the race in Otradnoe, Moscow, with 43 per cent of vote
and YABLOKO�s Zoya Shargatova running in Dorogomilovo, Moscow,
won with 46 per cent of the vote.
YABLOKO�s Mikhail Menshikov (24%) and Sergey Trifonov (31%)
were also elected to the Dorogomilovo Municipal Assembly.
Sergei Sokolov was elected to the Municipal Assembly of Konkovo,
Moscow, with 24.5% of the vote.
Three candidates nominated by YABLOKO were elected to the
City Council of Kurkino, Moscow: Tatiana Byelova (37%), Elena
Isayeva (27%), and Anna Lukasik (27%).
Member of the Moscow Regional Council of YABLOKO Ekaterina
Kalatskaya became deputy of the municipal Presnya with over
26% of vote.
YABLOKO�s Nikolai Pinyasov was elected municipal deputy of
the Sokolinaya Gora district, Moscow (25%), and Dmitry Tupikin
was elected municipal deputy of the Fili-Davydkovo distrit,
Moscow (38%). Grigory Semyonov became municipal deputy of
the Cheryomushky district, Moscow (32%), Svetlana Savitskaya
in Yaroslavskoye district (33%), and Nadezhda Kamchenko in
the Lomonosovsky distrcit (26%).
Georgy Ogorodnikov (31%) nominated by YABLOKO and Elena Rusakova
supported by YABLOKO (25%) got mandates in the Gagarinsky
district. Inna Mertsalova (29%) and Elena Kholkovskaya (20%)
became deputies of Koptevo Municipal Assembly.
Also YABLOKO nominees were elected in eight more municipal
assemblies: Anton Chernikov in Novogireyevo (23%), Alexander
Popov (28%) in Obruchevskoye, Tatiana Shershakova (25%) in
Strogino, Dmitry Andrusenko (26%) in Tverskoye, Vladimir Garnachuk
(27%) in Troparevo- Nikulino, Elena Pushkaryova (31%) in Khoroshevskoye,
Maxim Katz (17%) in Shchukino, Sergei Belyayev (32%) and Alesya
Lonskaya (24%) in Yuzhnoye Butovo.
The list of newly elected deputies is not full, as distribution
of the mandates of the deputies has not been completed yet.
