The 12th of April is one of the brightest
dates in our history. The first flight of man to space was
taken by all as the pinnacle of our science, our spirit, and
the desire to be the first.
A charming hearts winning smile of Yuri Gagarin for many
years became a symbol of our new history, a new face of the
country open to the world.
Every year on April 12, and especially in this anniversary
year, we, as on same day in 1961, which is familiar to all
of us from newsreels, take pride in this day and this man,
and all those who prepared that flight, and who at present
in such difficult conditions maintains the reputation of Russian
space industry!
This is our common holiday!
