Tomorrow, on November 25, an action against violence against
women will take place in the Pushkin Square, Moscow. The action
is held in the UN decade The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender
Violence. This an annual action held under the auspices of
the United Nations.
Activists from YABLOKO’s Gender faction and its leader Galina
Mikhalyova, the Council for Consolidation of Women’s Movement,
representatives from the Feministki.ru initiative group and
other people who feel they can not stay indifferent to the
problem will participate in the action.
Women will come to the square with photographs of the victims
of violence and placards calling to stop violence against
women.
The action will start at 4 p.m.
Address: metro stations Tverskaya, Pushkinskaya, Chekhovskaya,
square in front of Pushkin monument.
