On behalf of everyone in the LI Secretariat I would like
to convey our deepest condolences for the horrible tragedy
that happened yesterday at the Domodedovo airport. Living
in a huge metropolis like Moscow that has also been affected
by terrorist attacks, and with in a daily subconscious fear
that it might happen again, we totally understand how you
feel.
Let’s hope that the perpetrators will be found and brought
to justice. But also, let’s hope that the Russian state policies
become more democratic and tolerant so that everyone, including
those from the marginalized communities can feel included
and supported by the state.
