| Some of YABLOKO’s lawsuits on the State Duma elections
in some electoral districts were backed by the courts. This statement was
made by YABLOKO’s leader Grigory
Yavlinsky on Thursday at a press conference in Moscow. In a number
of cases it was proved that we were right and the courts admitted that
serious and considerable violations had been committed during the vote-counting,”
said Yavlinsky. He also noted that some of the lawsuits are still at trial
stage and that appeals are also being considered by courts in a number
of cases.
