MOSCOW (MT) -- Yabloko head Grigory Yavlinsky said his party may enter the
Cabinet that will be created after elections to the State Duma in December,
Interfax reported Monday.
"I don't exclude such a possibility. Yabloko is ready to enter the
government or to cooperate with it, if it will be a Cabinet of economic
policy aimed at improving the well-being of the whole people, and not a
Cabinet of business, which creates conditions to improve the well-being of a
certain category of Russians," Yavlinsky told the news agency.
In past years, Yabloko, positioning itself as a liberal opposition group,
has sternly opposed its members' entering the Cabinet.
