Moscow. By and large, Grigory
Yavlinsky, leader of the Democratic "Yabloko" party does
not see any threat of impending national socialism in Russia.
"National socialism is a great overstatement. I do not think that
this could happen in the Russian Federation", Yavlinsky stated at
a press conference on 9 December 2003.
At the same time, Yavlinsky admitted that there was a threat of increasing
nationalism. "At the moment this phenomenon is visible in most countries",
Yavlinsky declared.
Commenting on the problems in the Russian Federation, Yavlinsky outlining
the following impending threats: use of administrative methods to transfer
property ownership, censorship of the mass media, mutual dependence of
