Moscow. Representatives from the Communist Party of Russia
state that their simultaneous electoral vote-counting disclose considerable
discrepancies with official data.
The simultaneous counting is still being carried on, but it is already
clear from the data that have been obtained that the Yabloko Party passed
the 5% threshold, collecting 5.7% of votes. The alternative figure indicating
voter participation also differs from the official figures.
At 11am Moscow time the Communist Party had counted17, 340 reports from
regional election committees (23.14% of voters). According to these figures, the United
Russia Party gained 34.11% of votes, the Communist Party 12.61%, the Liberal
Democratic Party 11.36%, the Rodina (Motherland) Party 10.49%, Yabloko
5.65%, the Union of Right-Wing Forces 4.88%, the Agrarian Party 3.12%,
the Party of Pensioners 3.10%. Some 5.17% of the electorate voted against
all the parties.
