MOSCOW, Dec 8 (Reuters) - Following is a table of partial
results of the
parliamentary election held in Russia on Sunday as issued by the Central
Electoral Commission.
These results refer to half of the 450 seats in the State Duma lower
house
contested nationally by 23 parties. The other half was contested by
individual candidates in local
constituencies, but indications of these results will only come later
in
the week.
A party needs to get at least five percent of the vote to win seats
in the
Duma. Votes won by parties that fail to cross the threshold are divided
between the winners.
The results are given only for the leading parties likely to pass the
entry
threshold.
Moscow time: 15 p.m. (1200 GMT)
Percent of votes counted: 97.87
