Moscow. Almost 22 per cent of Russian citizens are hesitant
about the choice of political party during the forthcoming elections. According
to the Social Opinion Fund, this information was obtained from a poll of
the population in 200 cities in 63 Russian regions. Respondents were asked:
"What party will you vote for?" The answers broke down as follows:
33% - for United Russia Party, 17% - for the Communist party, 10% - for
the LDPR, 9% - for the Agrarian Party, 8% - for the Rodina (Motherland)
bloc, 7% - for the Union of Right-Wing Forces (SPS), 6% - YABLOKO. The
remaining parties obtained less than 4 per cent.
