MOSCOW - OOO TV-6 has been registered in the Moscow Registration
Chamber, reported TV-6 spokeswoman Tatyana Blinova.
Now TV-6’s journalists, who founded OOO TV-6, can register it
in the Media Ministry as a media outlet, and take part in a tender
for TV Channel 6.
The tender is scheduled for March 27, 2002. The terms of the
tender have already been announced. And so far the TV-6 team hopes
to get a temporary broadcasting license.
At present only TV-6’s journalists announced their intention
to bid for TV Channel 6. At the same time, Media Minister Mikhail
Lesin believes that five or six companies will take part in the
tender, while his deputy Mikhail Seslavinsky speaks about three
to eight bidders. Experts say that companies like ViD, Ren-TV,
ATV and others may take part in the tender.
