Born on January 3, 1947, Altai
Territory.
Finished evening school for working
youth.
Served in the army. After graduating
from Omsk Militia (Police) College rose from criminal
investigation inspector to head of the Area Department
of the Interior Ministry.
In 1990 graduated from the Academy
of the Interior Ministry and was then appointed head
of the organised crime investigation department.
Retired in 1992.
Since 1995 - Chairman of the Altai
Territory branch of YABLOKO.
Member of the Central Council of YABLOKO.
Deputy of the Legislative Assembly
of Altai Territory.
On December 19, 1999, elected deputy
of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian
Federation of the third convocation on YABLOKO's party
list
Member of the State Duma Security
Committee.
Member of the Council of the YABLOKO
faction.
Familiar with all types of small arms.
