| On April 23-25, 2004, Griogry
Yavlinsky will participate in the conference conducted by the Ditchley
Foundation, and international non-profit organisation, and devoted to Russia
Russia as a Stable and Flourishing Partner. The Ditchley Foundation supports
multiple charity projects and endeavours, first of all in education and
the strengthening of transatlantic relations. This year the conference
will be held in the suburbs of London. YABLOKO's leader will make a speech
entitled International Politics and Security Policies.
On April 27-30, 2004, Yavlinsky is invited to make a speech at the European
annual meeting of the World Economic Forum. The Forum will discuss different
aspects of the admission of ten new members to the European Union. The
meeting will take place in Warsaw under the patronage of the President
of Poland Alexander Kwasniewski. Yavlinsky will make speeches at two sessions
devoted to Russia’s relationships with the European Union: Russia:
What s Next? (on April 28) and Relationships between Russia and the New
Europe (on April 29).
