YABLOKO says Duma elections were rigged, threatens to go to court
The liberal YABLOKO party intends to file a lawsuit in
connection with numerous violations committed at the recent State Duma
elections. The party's representative Sergei
Ivanenko said on Friday that ''lawful representation in the State Duma
was stolen from YABLOKO''. YABLOKO leader Grigory
Yavlinsky also blasted the parliamentary elections as ''unjust''. Deputy
Head of the YABLOKO party Sergei
Mitrokhin also noted that YABLOKO possessed its own data which matched
the results of the alternative vote count organized by the Communist party.
