Leader of the Pskov YABLOKO Lev Shlosberg said:
"President Putin is making a mistake when he legally extends
the rights of heads of federation subject to additional terms
of office. Such a structure would retain the 20th century in our
political system. PolPoliticians from the past century with their
mentality and non-comprehension of modern realities in the country
will provide the grounds for further stagnation."
He added: "We regard the extension of the electoral potential
of most regional heads as a manifestation of the political weakness
of President of Russia Vladimir Putin."
