The death of Bella Akhmadullina is a grave event not only in
our literature, but also in our public life. Having a pure
and unique voice inherent in a real poet she was one the persons
who could be called the conscience of the nation, notwithstanding
her elitism and individualism. The feeling of freedom distinguished
her lyrics, as well as made her flawless in the civil sense.
We share the grief of the family and friends of Bella Akhmadullina.
