| On September 24 activists of the Youth YABLOKO are going
to hand to Education Minister Andrei Fursenko invitation to
the rally which will be conducted by outraged parents in Moscow
tomorrow. The participants of the rally protest against mass-scale
dismissals of teachers all over the country planned y the
Education Ministry, as well as all-through commercialisation
of the education sector.
A rally against the federal law No 83 which turns federal
budget supported educational institutions, as well as organisations
in the field of science, healthcare and culture into commercial
organisations pushing them all onto market will be held in
Moscow (Taras Shevchenko Embankment) on Saturday at 2 p.m.
The rally is held within the framework of a national action.
In Moscow the organizers of the rally are the Moscow Parents
movement and a number of public organisations, including the
YABLOKO party.
