in 1979 and is the successor of the World Federation of Liberal
and Radical Youth (created in 1947). IFLRY joins together
over 90 organisations from all the continents. IFLRY policies
are based on the belief in the universality and indivisibility
of human rights, free and tolerant society without any form
of discrimination, with equal opportunities, respect for the
individual and the minorities. According to the federation,
these goals can only be reached through a democratic system
of governance.
As liberals and radicals IFLRY is in favour of a market economy
operating within the limits of a fair distribution of wealth
and ecological sustainability. IFLRY and YABLOKO are full-fledged
members of Liberal International.
IFLRY has been closely cooperating with the Youth YABLOKO
for several years.
