Interregional conference “Women’s Movement in Russia: the
Present and Socio-Political Prospects” and the meeting of
the Council for Consolidation of Women’s Movement in Russia
will take place in Voronezh on April 9, 2010. Chair of YABLOKO’s
Gender faction and Co-Chair of the Council for Consolidation
of Women’s Movement Galina Mikhalyova will make a report at
the conference “The Political Prospects of Women’s Movement
at the Present Stage”.
The conference is conducted by the Voronezh regional public
movement “Women’s Unity” and the Russian Academy of the State
Service (the Voronezh branch) with participation of the Council
for Consolidation of Women’s Movement. Deputies of the State
Duma and members of the Public Chamber, representatives of
political parties and public figures will take part in the
conference.
The conference will be conducted on April 9 from 10-00 a.m.
