On February 9, 2002, Grigory Yavlinsky will open the conference of the Fabian Society of Great Britain. The main reports at the opening of the conference will be made by the UK finance minister Gordon Brown and the leader of the All-Russian Democratic Party YABLOKO Yavlinsky.

The conference of the Fabian Society is the main annual conference of the Labour Party of Great Britain. The Fabian Society is the organisation of the British intellectuals who joined the Labour Party after its creation (1900).

On February 11, Yavlinsky will deliver a lecture on economics to students of the London School of Economics.
