On March 16-17, 2001, Chairman of Yabloko Association, Grigory Yavlinsky, will participate in the 24th annual joint conference of Harvard University and Columbia University, USA.

The conference, to be held in the Arden House Conference Centre, Harriman, New York, focusses on the following topic “Two New Leaders: Will it Make a Difference?”.

On March 16 Yavlinsky will make a speech that evening on “The Attitude of the New Duma to the United States”, and follow that up with another speech in the morning on March 17 “Two New Presidents: Compatibility or Combustion?”

At noon on March 17 Grigory Yavlinsky will chair the discussion of the economic section of the conference “A New Tiger from an Old Bear: the Russian Economy”.
