the authors of legislation on production sharing agreements.
On January 14, 1999 for purely political reasons
was dismissed by the left-wing majority of the Duma
from this post: most deputies ( 301) voted for the
dismissal, apart from the Yabloko faction. According
to the set agreement on the distribution of posts
in the Duma, Yabloko maintained the post Chairman
of the Committee. Mikhail Glubokovsky was appointed
new Chairman of the Committee.
On December 19, 1999, elected Deputy of the State
Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation
of the third convocation. The federal
electoral district (Yabloko list).
Member of the Committee for the Budget and Taxes.
Heads the economic and budget policy commission of
